Better to replace the whole thing. I replaced my center bearing at first and that fixed the vibration problem. Few months later my u-joints went bad. So it became a double job.
I ended up actually getting mine done at a local driveshaft place. Took in my core and they gave me a one-piece with larger u-joints. Havn't had any problems since with vibrations. Going on almost 4 years now.
